Artist Statement

This blog is my exploration and response to the concept of validity within different aspects of life. Social, philosophical, physical, and personal validation is what many strive for, and is a key part of self maintenance. My intent is to push images, videos, etc. unto you (as the viewer of my blog) and to prove the validity of seemingly mundane and obvious aspects (objects, ideas, people, places, etc.) of everyday life.

Boys Beware

A 1950's propaganda video, intended for public school and high school children as an educational film about homosexuality. In this film, however, the creators have confused a homosexual with a pedophile.

Girls Beware

This is also a 1950's propaganda film regarding careless girls being tricked, captured and assaulted or killed. This is the twin of Boys Beware and I wanted to show the contrast between two films from the same time period which, thought to be completely valid then, are now either too vague or completely irrelevant in the modern day.
